FIBER + WAX STUDIO
Fiber + Wax Studio is a membership for artists who want to work more slowly, more intentionally, and more in conversation with the natural world.
This is a space for those drawn to encaustic, fiber, mixed media, and natural materials, and who understand that the garden, the landscape, and the body all shape the work we make.
Rather than chasing constant output, Fiber + Wax Studio supports a sustainable studio practice—one that unfolds over seasons, honors cycles of growth and rest, and allows ideas to mature naturally.
Who This Is For
Fiber + Wax Studio is for you if:
You work (or want to work) with natural materials such as wax, fiber, cloth, pigment, and found elements
You’re inspired by gardens, walking, observing, and the outdoors
You value process over perfection
You’re craving a quieter, deeper relationship with your studio practice
You don’t want another fast-paced course or content-heavy program
This membership is not about keeping up.
It’s about staying connected.

About the Instructor
Fiber + Wax Studio is guided by Alaina Enslen, a mixed media artist and educator whose work integrates painting, textile traditions, encaustic, and natural materials.
Her practice is shaped by:
A lineage of weavers, quilters, and makers
A deep relationship to place
Years of teaching and exhibiting internationally and nationally
A belief that art is a long conversation, not a race
Fiber + Wax Studio reflects the way she actually works—seasonally and in dialogue with the land.
