A collaborative botanical drawing + painting night

Bring a friend and get 50% off their registration!

September 27th- 6pm-8pm

$50 + $15 material fee, light refreshments and a drink

Come step away from the to-do list and spend a couple of hours slowing down, making marks, playing with paint, and creating something together.

We'll start with inspiration from fall flowers and use a series of quick, playful drawing exercises to loosen up and get curious while we create one large collaborative artwork, layering, painting, drawing, printing, covering, revealing, and responding to what the group creates.

No experience necessary. I'll guide you with prompts to help you take risks, move past the blank-page moment, and know what to try when you get stuck. Come by yourself or bring a friend. Meet some creative people, enjoy a drink, listen to some good music, and give yourself permission to be curious and play.

Field Notes:

  • 2 hour workshop 6-8pm

  • For all levels

  • The price includes all materials, a drink and light refreshments

  • Everyone will leave with a part of the collaborative painting to display, share, or gift.

STUDIO POLICIES:

  • Payment must accompany registration to guarantee a seat in class.

  • If we need to cancel a class you will receive a full refund.

  • One week or more before a class or workshop begins, you may withdraw from a class and receive credit equal to the full value of the tuition. Credit is good for a future class, workshop, or educational program for the next 3 months (6 months for Spring class or workshop withdrawal).

  • Less than 7 days before a class or workshop begins, you may withdraw from a class and receive credit equal to half of the tuition. Credit is good for a future class, workshop, or educational program for the next 3 months (6 months for Spring class or workshop withdrawal).

Teaching art is at the heart of my practice! I am passionate about inspiring students of all ages to be curious, playful, and fearless in their creativity. Currently, I teach after-school programs at Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary and Lee Road Elementary, and serve as a Freelance Educator at Storm King Art Center. I also lead workshops at Garrison Art Center and Woodstock School of Art, where I guide students through painting, printmaking, and mixed media explorations. My goal as a teacher is to create welcoming spaces where imagination thrives and students feel empowered to express their unique voice through art. In addition to teaching, I am represented by Carrie Haddad Gallery, where my own studio practice continues to inform and inspire my approach to education.
