Week 1: Wild About Art (July 20-24th)

Art for the Naturalist & Animal Lover

Ages: 5-9

Monday- Thursday- 10am-3pm

Week 1 Morning Session (10-12pm)- Drawing, Printmaking and Painting Wild Creatures and the Natural World

Week 1 Afternoon Session (12-3pm)- Ceramics, Mixed Media and 3-D Sculpture Inspired by Nature

Friday Field trip + Sketching at Wildlife Education Center and Art Show at Cornwall Collective.

Description:
This week blends art, nature, and gentle curiosity about the living world. Campers will observe, draw, paint, and sculpt animals and plants while working both indoors and outdoors. We’ll practice plein air painting, animal sketching, nature-based printmaking, and clay sculpture inspired by the natural world.

We will also do a field trip to the Wildlife Education Campus. (Parents must drop off and pick up their child there.)

This week encourages slowing down, noticing details, and connecting creativity to the environment around us.
